The library which is shared by all four Departments based in Agrinio (Department of Environmental Engineering, Department of Business Administration of Food and Agricultural Enterprises, Department of History and Archaeology) is located in the building facilities where the Department of Food Science & Technology is housed. The library is housed in an area of 167 sq.m. and adequately covers the educational and research needs of the four Departments.
The library has over 10,000 volumes of Greek and foreign language books which can be borrowed by the students of the three Departments. Also, in the library you will be able to find 48 current subscriptions to magazines in printed or electronic form, about 250 CD-ROMs and floppy disks, as well as some videos, photos and maps. It also has a reading room with internet access, a photocopier and gives students and teachers the opportunity to borrow material through the National Documentation Center (NDC) being one of its member. Finally, in the library, you will be able to find diploma theses of undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as doctoral dissertations completed in the Departments. This material is organized according to the computer system ABEKT 4, while its conversion to the online program HORRISON is completed.
The Library operates on a five-day basis and is open to users from Monday to Friday (from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.).
